Getting your Start-up Accepted Into an Accelerator 

If you are thinking about joining an accelerator, Jean advises to look at what the accelerator is looking for to ensure that you and the accelerator are a good fit. Once you know what they are looking for, you can then present yourself under that light and you will easily get in. Analyze what your core value is highlight what you can bring in for them.

Leverages Tradeshows to Get Press

When the app started, it took off slowly but things changed whenJean started going to events and conferences (through creative ways). He pitchedAugment here and there and his demo was so cool that it wowed people that as soon as someone from the press saw it, he immediately received article write ups. Augment started getting interest from around the world, he was featured in the TV, got picked up by popular publications such as Forbes and it snowballed from there. Jean feels that getting into these conferences is the best way to get in front of people.
