Show Notes
Sales Strategies that Work
Jason thinks that the keys to being the best sales person is knowing the line between persistence and being annoying, and testing.Jason was relentless. He would send five emails before he would give up and he would test those emails and try different templates to get people to respond. Once you get people in and start building relationships with them, his next step would be over delivery. He advises to work really hard to get them everything you have promised and more.
Emails that Get Responses
Jason’s favorite email is what he calls the ‘1-2-3 email’ which basically goes something like this:
Hey Steve,
I know you are busy, but just give me 1, 2 or 3:(And then below this, he would place the following in bullets)
- I’m not interested, thanks for asking.
- This sounds good but now is not a good time. Contact me in 30 days.
- Let’s do it. Let’s hop on a call and discuss.
The subject line would say, “Should I stay or should I go?” and he would include emoticons. The responses of these emails were amazing!
