Kurt Collins came up with one of the most timely examples of how technology and man’s needs have been synched. Google’s app, “Finding People” came about because of so many people lost in natural disasters. Now finding people is not the nightmare it used to be. Kurt advises that all developers need is some creativity to see and apply technology as an answer to some of the pressing needs we hear about in the news.
How to Rise from the Ashes of Half a Million Dollar Business Flop
It is no easy thing to close down a business knowing people depend on you for their livelihood. Kurt’s advice is to find some meaning in life again to save your soul. He found his in starting a non-profit enterprise to help young, black man by teaching them how to code. It is called “The Hidden Genius Project” and is still going strong today. It is part of the Google Impact Challenge.
