I believe consulting is one of the best ways to become an entrepreneur. You sell your knowledge and give your clients the touch that is needed for them to learn. Too many times, we rush through courses and digital products when the best way to start making money on your own is to provide knowledge to people who need help through consulting services.

If you are an expert on something, may it be design, marketing or coding, people are willing to pay for your acquired knowledge. You can start small and gradually prize yourself basing on the value you bring rather than the hours you spend.

One strategy that I can share with you to grow your business is getting into Clarify.fm. This is a platform where people can get advice by scheduling calls with different expertsfor topics such as fund raising, app marketing and the like. You can charge people to schedule calls with you and be the one to determine the price you want to set.It’s a great platform to get your name out there, land clients and grow your network.

If you are just starting out, a good hack is using Clarity to schedule free calls, like what I did in the early days. When someone wanted to touch base with me but those calls are not charged, I scheduled those meetings by sending link in Clarity called the VIP Link, whichyou can send to people for free.

It’s a great way to make use of your free time because you are building your platform due to the increase of your # of calls plus the number of reviews that you will get from these meetings. You build your brand, get your name out there and turn these people into clients.
