Instagram Influencer Marketing Tips
In this video, I share three phenomenal Instagram marketing tips that I learned from our podcast guests, which you can use to market your apps as well.
Reach out to meme accounts – look for the right niche that you want to focus on, then look for the right meme for that niche. Make sure you choose the ones with high audience engagement, it doesn’t matter if the number of followers are not that huge. Once you find that, DM them so you can agree on the details. This gives a great turn out With low CPI.
Turn on post notifications – turn post notifications (or even story notifications) for influencers that you want to engage with. Each time they post, be one of the first people to engage with them — go beyond a ‘like’, write a comment. This is how you build relationships with influencers and this is great to do during your app’s pre-launch phase.
Use Shoutcart – you can look for influencers using this platform without the use of Instragram and they connect them to you. You can see details such as the number of followers, engagement and prices. You just basically give them the content (text, images, caption, hashtags, etc.) that you want to run but note that they may take a while to respond to give ample time for conversations to happen.
Now I run an app marketing agency where we’ve helped 28 clients get featured by Apple, 5X downloads with ASO, and get coverage on Techcrunch, Mashable, Venture Beat and other major publications. I also write about apps on The Next Web, Entrepreneur.com, and on my blog AppMasters.co.
