How to Get Started without Coding Knowledge
If you have an idea and how to make it a reality, map it out on paper. List down what it is you want to do and what you want to happen with the idea. For example, Soam chose Facebook because he was familiar with it and soon his blog was up. He had no idea how to do Photoshop but being a presenter, he knew Keynote. That was what he used as his on boarding ticket to make his prototype.
After his prototype in his phone, he validated his app with the people in the playground: the clueless babysitters who first gave him this idea for his app.
What I Wish I Knew Before…
Don’t be disappointed if you can only do a fourth of the original. Become realistic and prioritize. A small budget requires any developer to be laser focused. At the end of the day, it is your app, it is your experience. Get the minimum viable product, put in the clickable prototype because that will allow you to get feedback to validate your app idea.
What advice would you give to anyone looking to build an app?
Go out there and just create it. You don’t need to know about codes. Even if nothing happens from it, at least you tried it.
