My favorite ASO tools for Google Play
You can do minimal things in the free versions but if you can spend a little bit of budget, invest in tools like Mobile Action and Sensor Tower as both tools are valuable. With Mobile Action, their ‘difficulty’ scores are more accurate than that of Sensor Tower. But the downside is that the search traffic in Sensor Tower is more correct. Look for low difficulty keywords with decent traffic.
Optimizing Your AppName and Short Description for Growth
Your app name and the short description would be your most valuable assets so work on these.
You can useAppfollow.io to find out what other auto suggested terms are around your app name which can become a potential keyword. When you have built up your long list of potential keywords, throw these keywords to Mobile Action to see search and difficulty scores. Look for words which have high traffic but if you are on a budget, you need to pay attention do the difficulty scores as well so you can go with those which have low competition.
Start with 5 – 10 keywords and focus 3 of these in your app name and short description. In your long description, have these 3 focus words as well frequently.
