You just got featured by Apple, what do you do to maintain your success? Well, in this video, I cover ways you can leverage the increases in keyword rankings, along with the social proof that comes with an Apple Feature.
Here are three tips:
1.When you get featured, you get exposure which results to keyword increases. Find the keywords which you are doing well in after the feature and figure out which ones are going to be the most impactful from a traffic perspective. Once you find the ones with the most traffic, optimize your app name and your subtitle with those keywords.
If you are targeting another country, try the high ranking keywords in that area as well. If you are going for Australian market, for example, check out different keywords from the Australian localization.
2.Another way to leverage your Apple feature is to update your screenshots and add a note such as “Featured by Apple on May 2019” as social proof. This makes people want to download your app.
3.Use this feature for PR. If you are reaching out to publications or influencers in your niche, mentioning an Apple feature can get their attention.
Maintain that boost as much as possible. Take your one win and make it into another!
Now I run an app marketing agency where we’ve helped 28 clients get featured by Apple, 5X downloads with ASO, and get coverage on Techcrunch, Mashable, Venture Beat and other major publications. I also write about apps on The Next Web, Entrepreneur.com, and on my blog AppMasters.co.
