Building a Marketplace for App Developers
Marc’s team was looking at providing a marketplace specific for app developers and to create a space where experts are there to guide them, give them support and nurture them all through the app development process. So they went on to build AppFuture, a place where developers can showcase their work, put links towards their personal websites, and make AppFutura an extension of their websites so they can be reachable to more people. Clients can now just go to one site, screen candidates from there by viewing their works and profiles instead of going to hundreds of websites.
They now have over 12,000 developers and have already reached 1,000 projects.
Getting New Leads Through Partnerships
AppFutura partners mainly with communication and advertising agencies as some of their campaigns entail the need for apps to be created. This gets their platform out there making them more visible to more potential clients.
What advice would you give to anyone looking to build a mobile app?
The best way to communicate a product is presenting it in language that everyone can understand. Even if you have a great product, it may still be unsuccessful if you do not know how to explain it to everyone.
