Agreed, i think because i could just sit back and let my mind wander as the writer in detail explained the environment of the dev, his country and mannerisms (cigarette in hand etc..). Great storytelling amplified by audio and relevant to our audience. And it inspired.

Hi Steve, I liked the Umano episode, I think it can be a really good idea to hear it from time to time. What I specially liked is that it wasn´t simply latest news, but also an analysis of global trends, like the 2nd section about Google’s innovation strategy.
I think it won´t be that a good idea if your podcast turns out to be a mobile news one, I really like the interviews you do with key players from the App Store.

It’s strange – I’ve had Umano for a few weeks and only listened to a couple articles because the podcasts I subscribe to take up all the time I have for audio and then some. Yet I did listen to and enjoy this episode. So I’d say yes even though if I were keeping up in Umano I might have already heard all these articles and therefore would have skipped your podcast.
I love your show Steve, keep up the great work! I’m just catching up with the podcasts, and I’d love to get a copy of your email scripts. For me, I’d say “no” to adding these to your normal rotation. It was great as a change of pace, but you already have so much great content, adding much more would make it difficult for me to keep up.
Late to the party dont replace your regular content with this. As others said you can use this for weekend content.
